Hello Dear Reader,

You may have seen ads for this workshop I am helping to host this weekend. It sounds like it will be fantastic! Here is some more info:

"Created in response to a request from the Achuar - an indigenous tribe of
Ecuador - to "help change the dream of our brothers and sisters of the
north," this program's goal is to bring forth an environmentally
sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on Earth.
We will look at the state of our fragile planet, how we got to this
situation, and why there is hope for a Great Turning. Developed by the
Pachamama Alliance, this program combines stunning videos; taped interviews
with luminaries including Thomas Berry, Brian Swimme, Paul Hawken, Matthew
Fox, Van Jones, and Mary Evelyn Tucker; and time for sharing, journaling,
and reading. For more information, visit www.pachamama.org
<http://www.pachamama.org/> and www.awakeningthedreamer.org

Legislation, and is active in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting's Earthcare
Working Group. She gave up her car and became a vegan in 1994 for reasons
of conscience and took early retirement in 2003 to follow her leading to
work full time on healing the human-earth relationship. She was trained as
a facilitator by the Pachamama Alliance in 2006. She is a member of
Chestnut Hill Monthly Meeting (PA)."

It's at the Unitarian Church Annex, from 1PM to 8PM. Please come!
